2016 Paperback Pick Recap

I wasn't always on time, but I was able to read at least one paperback from my unread pile every month this year. Some of these books caused me to read more paperbacks, so that's awesome. My genres varied from Young Adult to Paranormal Romance to Sports Romance and more. I figured it would be nice to do a quick recap that shows off my favorites. You can see all of my paperback picks either on Goodreads or on Pinterest. Obviously, there were a lot of favorites.

I Have No Doubts About This

First off, I think I'm being clever with my title. But anyway, back to the point of this post. I'm so excited about my next release that I've decided to go ahead and share it with y'all. While I'm sharing some information now, you might as well get comfy because we've got quite a bit of a wait before this book releases.

Because it's not coming out until December 18, 2015.

The anticipation is what makes waiting worth while though, right?

This is Emerson and Eva's book (you may have seen me talk about them on Facebook or Twitter), and it'll be titled Without a Doubt. (Now do you see why I think I'm clever with my title?)

This story came out of nowhere in the sense that I was working on two other projects when this one popped into my head while I was washing dishes (as good as the shower and driving when it comes to thinking of new ideas). It took me a little bit to figure out the details, but once I did, I couldn't stop writing.

Be sure to read the blurb below, adore my gorgeous cover, and add this book to your Goodreads shelf! It's available for preorder on iBooksB&N, and Kobo! It won't be on Amazon until closer to the release date due to Amazon's preorder policy.

I'm so excited about this book and I hope you are too!

Emerson Montgomery loves his high school sweetheart, Kelly Price. He'd do anything for her, including agreeing to a break where they'll see other people as he heads off to college. Struggling with the break and guilt over dating other people, Emerson meets Eva, a beautiful, funny, easygoing, and nosey junior.

Eva Harvey chose this particular college with the hopes of fulfilling her own fairytale and falling in love at the same college where her parents met. She does her best to go with the flow and simply see what happens, but Emerson simultaneously causes her to fall in love while making her second guess everything along the way.

There's some things you know without a doubt. However, Eva causes Emerson to doubt everything he believes about his future while he causes her to doubt what's right in front of her. Can they find a way to erase all doubts or will it tear them apart in the process?

ALWAYS Has a Synopsis!

I finally knuckled down to the nitty gritty and wrote the synopsis for Always! If you haven't added it to your to-read shelf on Goodreads, here's the link. I hope you are as excited for this installment as I am! Keep an eye out for the cover reveal later this month.

Without further ado, the synopsis:

The fourth installment of the Bold as Love series begins where Whatever It Takes ends. Battles are arising for Emily and Jake individually and together as a couple. It's time for these two to grow up and deal with their demons.
Emily will face her mother one last time and Jake's dream of playing in the NHL is within his grasp. It's essential that this couple stand united while traveling the roads together when one day alters their future forever.
After all, making a dream come true requires hard work and sacrifices.

In case you missed it, here are two teasers that I shared this week. You can find them on the Bold As Love Series board on Pinterest.

DON'T PANIC! I have a teaser for you!

See? I think that was pretty clever of me, that title. Anyways, every Saturday between now and October 8th, I'm going to share a teaser from Don't Panic. I really hope y'all enjoy this feature and that it gets you excited about the book. Don't forget to add it to your shelf on Goodreads!

I'm thrilled to be writing this book because I have so many expectations for it and I want it to be a tool to show other teens with anxiety that they are not alone. Plus, I have enjoyed writing this book. It has been helpful for me and my anxiety as well.

On to the teaser!*

Every single day, I walk into my classroom and get this urge to leave. It’s impossible to ignore. The longer I ignore it, the more prominent it is and the harder it is to pretend it isn’t there. It’s even worse when I have to speak or stand in front of everyone. All of a sudden, these things that didn’t bother me do. I have no control and I barely want to leave the house to go to school.
I freeze as I hear water rushing out of a faucet.
What are you doing in here,” a boy asks as he rounds the corner and sees me. “Are you okay?” he adds seeing my frantic expression.
Oh, no. I’m in the boys bathroom.

*Please note that these teasers are may not end up being in the final product of this book. Changes may be made. Please do not quote these teasers until you have checked against the final version.

10 Random Facts about me

Today, I'm sharing 10 very random facts about myself. Enjoy!

1. When my future husband proposes, I hope he buys the ring from Jared's because thanks to those commercials, I've always wanted to hold my hand up and say, "He went to Jared's!!!"

2. I love riding in the car alone. Most people (that I know) rather have a riding buddy. Me? I rather be alone because when my favorite song comes on, I don't have someone turning it down so they can tell me something. They never wait until the song is over. That's the main reason why I like driving alone.

3. I am homebound due to my anxiety issues.

4. If you look at my room, you may see chaos. I see an organized mess.

5. I love quotes. It's always a good day when I find a quote to add to my list on Goodreads.

6. Sometimes when I'm tweeting, I feel as if it's only because it's my way of talking to myself without appearing weird.

7. I've been an aunt since I was five years old.

8. I've been on a 9 day trip to Costa Rica.

9. While shots/drawing blood doesn't bother me mentally, I'll faint anyway.

10. I really, really, really want to go to England.
