Hey, y'all! It's time for me to share my love of reading with you!
Three Terrific Reads is where I share the top three books I read this past month and would recommend!
Read on for three terrific reads you should check out! Be sure to share your top three reads as well! :)
I most definitely have to share this book. I read it and immediately had to read the next available books. I'm now anxiously waiting for the next book in the series to release as well. If you're in the mood for a YA book with dragons, check it out!
Dragons exist. They're ferocious. And they're smart: Before they were killed off by slayer-knights, they rendered a select group of eggs dormant, so their offspring would survive. Only a handful of people know about this, let alone believe it – these "Slayers" are descended from the original knights, and are now a diverse group of teens that includes Tori, a smart but spoiled senator's daughter who didn't sign up to save the world.
The dragon eggs have fallen into the wrong hands. The Slayers must work together to stop the eggs from hatching. They will fight; they will fall in love. But will they survive?
Let me start by saying I love Sarah Dessen. I adore this cover and I love this book even more. I'm 99.9% sure it's my new favorite book by her, so of course, it's on the list this month!
Louna, daughter of famed wedding planner Natalie Barrett, has seen every sort of wedding: on the beach, at historic mansions, in fancy hotels and clubs. Perhaps that's why she's cynical about happily-ever-after endings, especially since her own first love ended tragically. When Louna meets charming, happy-go-lucky serial dater Ambrose, she holds him at arm's length. But Ambrose isn't about to be discouraged, now that he's met the one girl he really wants.
Sarah Dessen’s many, many fans will adore her latest, a richly satisfying, enormously entertaining story that has everything—humor, romance, and an ending both happy and imperfect, just like life itself.
I haven't read a book like Ripper in a while, but I'm glad I read it. It was pretty good and easily held my attention!
"I felt hot breath on my neck, and, horrified, I knew that he stood behind me . . ." It's 1888, and after her mother's sudden death, Abbie is sent to live with her grandmother in a posh London neighborhood. When she begins volunteering at Whitechapel Hospital, Abbie finds she has a passion for helping the abused and sickly women there. But within days, patients begin turning up murdered at the hands of Jack the Ripper. As more women are murdered, Abbie realizes that she and the Ripper share a strange connection: she has visions showing the Ripper luring his future victims to their deaths--moments before he turns his knife upon them. Her desperation to stop the massacres leads Abbie on a perilous hunt for the killer. And her search leads to a mysterious brotherhood whose link to the Ripper threatens not just London but all of mankind.
Those are my three terrific reads from November! What are yours?
